I was always a collector over a player so most of my cards are in NM condition. However, some of these cards might have been played in the two tournaments I took place in, or I received them from other collectors in trades. I fully expect some light play cards to be considered NM or NM- by some other peoples standards.

All foil cards have natural curvature to them due to the foiling process and how the foil is stored before foiling the card. Knowing this, I always placed another foil card back to back with my foils when stored to combat this natural phenomenon. With all of this in mind, here is my grading system. 1Gem Mint: I cant find a single flaw on the card.

If I list anything with this grade it will be rare. I don't really expect to find any of these, there is always a single surface scratch somewhere.. Typical pack fresh condition after being handled, sleeved and stored. Maybe 1 light surface scratch or nick on the side. A card that was NM, but took an extra surface scratch or nick on the side typically due to being stored in binder pages. This card lived in a deck for a few games and caught a little dirt from a reused deck sleeve, or it received extra nicks around the corner or side of the card due to shuffling. Some people still list this as NM. I will ensure this by placing the card upside down in a sleeve, then I will place the sleeve upside down into a rigid top loader to prevent exposure from the elements, or escape through the top. Next, I will secure the card into an oversized piece of cardboard that wraps around the card on all sides and then everything will be slid into a bubble mailer for extra safety.
